Abrablast

According to the National Environment Agency (NEA) in Singapore – only 13% of Glass was recycled from the 74,000 tonnes originally produced in 2021! (National Environment Agency, 2021). The remaining glass that has not been recycled goes into the Pulau Semaku Landfill. (An island created just to dispose of waste) By utilising this glass waste, we will be able to extend the life of the landfill, therefore helping the environment as well.

Abrasives for blasting works are hard to come by in general, and companies are forced to import them into Singapore. Therefore, seen as our projects required a higher demand for abrasives, we decided to embark on a journey of manufacturing an abrasive that was not only cost-effective and environmentally-friendly but readily available for our projects and that of our clients around the region and beyond. We now introduce, a recycled glass version of an abrasive – ABRABLAST

ABRABLAST will be manufactured mainly with glass waste – collected by Abraclean by partnering up with waste collectors and other various companies that wish to dispose of the glass ethically in Singapore.
